NBA Finals - Series Price Inflated.

Call me crazy if you want but the Spurs -250 (or so) is IMHO to high. I give the Pistons a real shot to win this series. Seems like the public has fogotten last year's finals when the Pistons were serious dogs only to win easily. I know the Spurs aren't nearly as overated as the Lakers were but tell me why the defending champs are not being given any respect.

OK, your crazy. Just because you thought it would be -1.40 does not mean -2.50 is too high. There was a lot of -3.00. This is not a dysfunctional Laker team with a gimp Malone laying -8.00. Not sure public pushed up the series price either. Those were openers that got hit. My take is fairly smart money pushed it up, and it went way past a scalp real quick. It was not Motown futures hedging. The advantages are weighted in most areas to the Spurs. I think it is right about where it should be, as far as value. Luckily, I was able to trade some +2.00 on the Spurs for some Motown at +5.80. Now I have a free position on the Spurs. I think Timmy gets his third ring. Without the Admiral this time.

Froggy the -40 cents was my opinion of where the series SHOULD be, I really believe these teams are much closer than the series price would indicate. Glad you liked the cartoon. Bottom line - Pistons win 2nd straight crown.

If you're confident Detroit will split in SA, you have a nice hedge with playing on the stones now and the spurs after the series is 1-1. (IF)
