I know most on the forum dont touch the NBA and it is difficult to determine if the future bankrupt millionaires are decided on when or if they are going to try and play hard each night, but man its getting worse and worse every year. NBA rules and refs have softened the game, there is no doubt about that, but players could still hustle to get open, box out for a rebound, chase for a loose ball, its becoming more and more ridiculous the lack of effort that is shown sometimes. Gets frustrating watching the games.

I have almost stopped betting on the NBA, it is so ridiculous. The officiating is a joke and I have little to no interest in the sport any longer. Would much rather watch hockey.

I'll only watch it if it's on prime time. Don't get the package. I do bet on it, but it's too much stress when you got money on the line and teams go on lose and gain big leads.

I guarantee spreads this year are larger and by a signficant margin than they have been in the last 10 years

I'll be the only soul in here to say I like it. Football first , soccer/nba basketball tied. I only cap pro sports tho. Hate college. The thought process is too sheep oriented in college sports.

+1 on college sports. For me it's NFL NHL MLB NBA Soccer. But NBA is the most stressful to bet on because of all the ups and downs IMO.

true. You got all pro sports as well. A lot of swings in the nba but that is basketball for the most part. NBA is special because of schedule bias. That is why the sheep have a hard time betting it because they can't figure out schedule bias. It is the only sport where it actually plays a role. (not calling anyone sheep in here just speaking in general)

and to be truthful about it, the nba is probably the least crooked it has ever been under new authority. Of course the refs are going to give teams that are losing the benefit of the doubt sometimes but that's expected. As long as they aren't making sure a team wins or loses like they have clearly done in the past.

Much easier to beat the closing line, especially on totals than most other sports. Just because it's unwatchable doesn't mean we should give up profits
