Looked at this game over and over. Basically statistically identical Ds both built to stop the run. Both teams have outstanding rushing attacks. I will give UGA the edge there slightly. Ever since Ben Cleveland has been starting at RG it seems the line is just mauling opponents. It's a difference maker. Bama has the better Oline, but I see, like UGA drives stalling for not picking up 3-4 yards on 1st down.
Difference maker to me is the QB play. Bama will play Hurts not to lose the game. I see UGA playing Fromm to win the game. As a true freshman his last 4 games have been great. I see that continuing tonight.
Special teams could be the difference. Both have decent punters. The PK for UGA is better.
These teams are about as even talent wise as you will find. Bama is deeper, no doubt.....but they are a little banged up as well.....especially at the LB position.
UGA has played better teams and the players are more battle tested. I think Oklahoma was the best team in the country and they played one of their best games last week......UGA just outscored them.....which was the best O in the country.

The one thing that Bama also does very well is intimidate the other team with size and reputation. Many times in this situation teams were beat before they stepped on the field. Don't see that happening here. Kirby has the team ready.....they just don't need to be right.
