WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) today issued the following statement upon releasing a letter announcing the formation of the National Council for a New America, a forward-looking, grassroots caucus intended to bring together Congressional leaders with a national panel of experts.
“The National Council for a New America will engage with and empower the American people to develop innovative solutions that meet the serious challenges confronting our country. It is the right time to begin a thoughtful conversation about the future of this country.”

I haven't sided with the views of the real republican party for many years so I'm new to this "Nacional Council" movement. But clearly you, super lefty, have great interest in it so I'll allow you to explain it to me since you're much more interested in it than I am
Tactically it's likely very akin to Moveon.org which got it's running start following the Democrat's loss of the White House in 2000.
As to whether they're able to mobilize Americans who feel negatively about the current President as did Moveon and various other anti-Republican orgs during 2002-2008 remains to be seen.

Actually its the Eliteist wing of the Republican Party, the left swingers so to speak. They are dumb as walls and cause no fear to any Democrat. Thats what they are supposed to do..provide the next loser for Obama to face so he can skip right thru another 4 yrs....Like there will be an election in 2012...wat a joke.
