National Championship Hockey Game on ESPN

I know it's not something on everyone's radar but this game is awesome! 4-3, early in the 2nd, great action. Lot of fun for those not watching it and have nothing to do!!

Union is in the title game? Isn't that a somewhat small lib arts school?

I know where it is and know a few people that went there, didn't know it had such a bigtime puck program.

Its a D3 school at all sports but hockey with 2200 students.

think it's an engineering school, although I'm not certain

several small colleges in upstate NY have good D1 hockey programs

Were they like a cinderella type team? I gotta think perennial power like Minn would've been favored....

That is interesting though, checked to see who was playing and and just expected the typical Northeast/Midwest teams, not Union.

been in the top 5 since Dec ranked 1 going in tourney jumped Minny to take the 1 spot when they lost to TOSU in B10 tourney
