i think the rule states that you are considered down if the snapped off lower tibia touches the ground

Yeah he held on to the ball, the travesty was if I remember right, UA was up 24-7 on UF in the 4th quarter and were trying to run up the score and this happened.

run up the score??.....has a team never come back from a 17 point deficit?...did you watch the game?...alabama was trying to win. not run up the score....sheesh.
