Nascar legend Benny Parsons has died of Lung Cancer, he was 65.

2 months after it was reported Parsons had beat the dreaded disease he has passed away from it.

He was just 65.

I will miss him on the various Nascar telecasts, as he was very good and well informed .......provided great insights.

yes a great guy that started from drving taxi cabs.it was reported that he has not smoke in 23 to 25 years..........ck

Yes he was...he really seemed like a genuine man in every sense of the word.

What sucks, it was reported he beat the disease and here we are two months later and he's gone.

Benny Parsons was one of the good guys. This cancer stuff is just nasty, hearing more and more people latley dying from it....................
