TROT NIXON, 8 home runs
Disagree with many of you .......
Yes, no question about it, Drew can be considered a flop thus far for the money the Bosox dished out, but most everyone knew that at time......however............
He has had numerous hard outs throughout the season and he has played a very, very good defensive RF.....and CF when called upon.
My only gripe when signing him was him being injury prone, which he hasnt been yet.
Think Drew might just be the kind of guy to get hot down the stretch and/or in the playoffs if the Red Sox make it.
By the way, it's amazing that almost everyday on this forum someone has to say something negative about the Red Sox...............Varitek no power, Lugo cant hit, Gagne a bum, Drew sucking, Ortiz and Manny having off years, Schilling sucking, Wakefield is laughable, Francona a terrible manager, etc, etc...........meanwhile they continue to roll the opposition night in and night out.

Oh my. we know where FH falls in the glass half full/empty camp. While I agree with you on the Sox sucking threads, Lugo, Ortiz, Gagne, etc. Drew blows. All the talent in the world and not a bit of heart. Beyond being injury prone (and probably more than that), his lack of heart is what made it a bad signing. Boston, as a town and fan base, are ALL heart and LOVE the guys that put out and care. He is the antithesis of the city of Boston, he should have stayed in ATL b/c that team suits his personality, just throw your hats on the field, show no emotion, come to work, collect your check, fold in the playoffs and go home.
