Besides the normal chasing... I have one that I can't shake.

I view every wager in $100 increments. I cannot play super long shot dogs for less than a $100.
I can't do 5 team parlays even for less than $100. Everything in my mind is min $100

I see +3500, I have to put $100 on it, otherwise if it hits and I put $50 on it, I'm thinking about the other $50 that should have been on it.

i find myself rounding off my account with long-shot parlays....but not for a hundy a pop like a balling degenerate such as Defying! mine are for more like $13.23 or $27.14...

now that i think about this, I also find myself adding to bets at times for no good reason sometimes other than boredom and anticipation of the game...for example, I will add 25% or 50% to a wager sometimes just because I havent found anything else to play that day even if I don't have any new information and/or a better line from when I took my original position....the play is no stronger to me, so no good rationale to press it....need to work on that one!

I do this too, especially for games I am hyped for. I am a sucker for the pregame, they start taking about what a good game it's going to be and I have to have "a little extra" on it. Just cause, ya know, you have to have big bets on good games.

When I gambled there was never enough of a win. If my account grew to 10K I wanted to get it to 20K and quickly. I could never win enough and any loss I felt like I was chasing even if I was still way up.

Meaning if I built a 5K bankroll to 20K, and loss a 1K wager, I was "down" 1K even thought I might be up 14K overall.

Much better nowadays but the bigger the game the more I put on it. Super Bowl, title game, certain boxing matches, etc.

Again, much better now but opening day as well. Baseball with the early games, opening weekend in football etc. Has a lot to do with the focus sports and gambling gets at these particular times.

College Football Saturdays used to be my downfall.

I would bet 2-3 games in each set of games, 12pm, 330pm, 7pm, 10pm

Also betting while completely hammered will do it.

I remember going monkey tilt one NFL Sunday after losing a few day games and put in a $2k parlay on the sunday night game was so drunk I didn't even see a single play of the game. Can still remember who played it was San Diego @ New England.

Have the same problem. When I run my poker account to $1k-2k I raise stakes and instead of playing $3-$10 sngs and mtts I start playing $25-$100 buy ins. Instead of playing $0.50-$1 cash games I play $1-$2 or $2-$4 NLHE cash games. A single bad session can cost you $500.
