But wouldn't that be 2 points and not one? I thought as long as the ball wasn't kicked through the goal posts, it counted as 2 points.Drop kick is still a kick.
If the holder or kicker, or any other back, takes the ball and runs the other way across the opponents goal line, it counts as one point.
