I posted: "I'm sure they will not know who got the emails."

No need to add the "s"

jateeluv, perhaps...

They have other things in common too. They know which shirt is better with which pair of trousers.

Well I am married, but then again I dont let my wife touch the computer, so she wouldnt know the emails vs email thing herself.

I do believe that email could be plural in this sentence though, I just asked my wife since she is an English teacher in High School.

"I have to send some emails out before we leave for the tity bar."

Ok well maybe she didnt exactly use that sentence, but she believes that the word is plural and singular, but does need s in certain situations.

But then again, she teaches English for special education students, so she may not be up to par on this subject. Heck her students cant spell the word email

I guess we could use "mail" as a reference...

Mail: transitive verb (past mailed, past participle mailed, present participle mail·ing, 3rd person present singular mails)

A better example of my sentence above would be to use the word FEW instead of some.

I need to send a few emails out before we go to the tity bar.

Now that we are at it, is it tity or titty.

tit n. 1. Vulgar. Slang. A woman's breast.

I would go with titty...

Tit is an old Germanic word for “small” and is used in various northern European languages to refer to small objects, animals, or people, especially girls—for example, titta is a Norwegian dialect word for “little girl.” The word is most common in American English in combinations that denote various small birds, such as the titmouse or tomtit. A titman in the 19th century could mean a small or stunted person, as Henry David Thoreau indicates when he calls his generation “a race of tit-men.” Tit and titman are still used in New England, mostly by farmers to refer to the runt of a litter of pigs.
