TY is correct. For those of you who really know nothing about Football Wagering, but like to pretend that you do, every June, normally on the 2nd Friday of the month, the Golden Nugget releases it's "College Games of the Year" lines. Normally there are between 100 and 130 games that they will release. This is the time to get your tails to Vegas and get down on some very good odds, IF you have the ability to develop a line before you get there. Please. I do not want to hear about the cost of getting there. If you guys wager as much as you claim to, this trip should cost you nothing in the long run. Now some lines are just obvious. They are based on how the linesmakers see each team performing over the year. I am currently 8-3 on these games over the season. I have also successfull middled 1 game, that being Florida State @ Miami. I got Miami +14 as a GOY, then took Florida State -2 when the lines for the game came out the week of the game. I also middled another game, but just got a push out of it and lost some vig. So I took a total of 15 games out of the 100 that were offered. This is how the successful gamblers make their money.
Now my guess is that a lot of you "computer geniuses" have never heard of the "Games of the Year", but in the Pro's, you can get a line on EVERY game of the season except week 17 games. They never post week 17 games. Now I am genuinely surprised at some people in here not knowing what a "GOY" is. Cruncher, you seem to be my biggest advisary in here, and certainly have one of the biggest mouths. For a guy who is suppose to know everything, are you telling me that you have never heard of these games? Conan, I am a bit suprised that you did not know about this. Perhaps you guys should do some research before questioning someone who probably has forgotten more about gaming than you ever know. Just sayin...
