I will try to make this story as brief as possible. In a nutshell, they are a nightmare to deal with when it comes to receiving and or transfering money. I have a friend who had multiple accounts with several sportsbooks. After losing an amount he was comfortable with, he decided to pack it in for the year. He called me, knowing that i also have a Canbet account, and asked if i would do him a favor and have them transfer his balance to me. I would just move the money to my account, and give him the cash that he had available. Sounds pretty straight forward right? Well they said categorically no to this. My friend does not want to have an IRS problem by taking a wire or a check, and this would have been very smooth. they said they can not transfer a balance from one player to another. I said you can't do this when we are BOTH customers of CANBET. I thought they were telling me a practical joke. After asking them several times, they said no way, and that my friend is going to HAVE to take the wire. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is a competitive business, and shouldnt' sportsbooks do as much as humanly possible to make the customer happy? I am in shock as to how caustic the people at Canbet are, and how unbending they can be. they must have a zillion customers to be so unwavering. All i can say is that if they continue to treat their customers like nothing more than numbers, their customer count will dwindle, and they will be swooped up by the Pinnacle's and the other books that always bend over to make me and their other customers happy. Canbet, I like your lines, and i know your money is good, but i am very sorry, there is more to this game than that. And you have lost sight of it. I hope your poor customer relations improve before it is too late.
