The thing i remember was back in the 70's, not exactly sure when. I believe the Jets were playing someone on the MNF and the game went into OT. These 2 teams played a full quarter and NO could score and the game fell in a Tie and i won both sides as i had taken both sides +1.

Today i try my very best to stay far, far, far away from the TUFF NFL. I see this year that the favorites have just nominated this sport, so i would have gotten crushed anyway.

I remember the one already mentioned about Lennon's death...

"the catch"...."the drive"......

Monday nighter in 1980ish when Oakland and Pittsburgh played to like a 45-34 final....

Ed McCafferry breaks his leg on Monday Night Football the night before the WTC buildings went down....don't know quite why I remember that little tidbit about Ed....

Watching Walter Payton win a Superbowl ring and thinking that was truly someone who deserved to win one...RIP Walter...

Toothless Jack Lambert and the steel curtain defense...

Generally bits and pieces of individual games that stick out.....the kickoff return winner in overtime on thanksgiving day....'80 or '81??

L.T. breaks Joe Theismanns leg.....

Scott Norwood kick misses wide right and Buffalo loses on last play of Superbowl...

The lateral across the field that put Tennessee in the Superbowl....
