My thoughts on Lakers/Denver Game 4

I posted in someones thread before the Conference Finals started that only one team........the Lakers or the Cavs will make it to the NBA Finals. I know that the dream match-up would be Kobe vs Lebron and the NBA would love to see that happen. Bottom line Las Vegas does not want that to happen because money talks. Everyone from the start of the playoffs had bought Lakers and Cavs in the Finals.

My prediction is...............one of these teams will not make it.

Getting back to Game 4 of the playoffs. I mention that my style is to go against any trends after the 3rd game. One trend is Denver has covered their last 6 playoff first half. I see Lakers starting off strong and fading at the end.

Lakers +2.5...........1st half

The other trend has Lakers playing under in their last 7 playoff games. Wagerline Experts has it 7-0 on the under. I like to go against them when it is lopsided.

Lakers/Denver over 208.5

lol well im staying away from the total but I don think it will go over. But I think the nuggets come flying out of the gates in a must win. And the bad lakers might show up as well.

are you saying that because Las Vegas does not want a LA/Cleveland final it won't happen OR that they have no control of the conference finals but are hoping that either Orlando or Denver moves on?

I don't really want to get into this too much because everybody has there own opinion but from my experience this is what I believe.........

I have to play by feel for each game. It's not an automatic play following these trends. When I feel it's not the time I back off on these trends.

All I can say is I'm doing really well in the playoffs like every year. I cannot say that for the regular season.

Going against Wagerline Experts is a key handicapping tool for me. Tonight they were 8 on the under and nobody on the over. I've been using this for 3 years and it has been very effective.

I shoud have also posted a prop that I played. You can play it in Game 6.

Denver over 106.5............all home games played this year Denver has gone over that number except for one (7-1).
