I want people to UNDERSTAND one thing about this game. The Giants are not a Bad Team. They are not the BEST TEAM as everyone has made them out to be, but they are still a good team and are 10-11 win team this year.

It's CLEVELAND that is a better team than people give them credit for. Their defense had 2 weeks to scheme for Eli and take advantage of his tendencies (Hence the 3 interceptions) and their offense finally got healthy and looked good.

After games like this people get the wrong misconceptions, and some people may now say the Giants are garbage. That's not the case.

Both teams are playoff teams and both are 10-11 win teams.

I'm just letting you know this, and keep that in mind with how good these 2 teams really are. So when a Line becomes inflated (Such as this game) you know the REAL VALUE in the line. I had this game as a Field Goal Game, and the fact that Cleveland was coming off a bye and at home on Monday Night Football made this a gimmie for the Spread, and A legitimate shot at the ML.

I don't see Cle winning 10-11 games with that schedule. Maybe 8-9 at best

Woh, hold on there Mac! CLE has talent, there's no doubt about that. But if NYG had taken this gm seriously, they would've won by 10. However, you made the right call in that NY wasn't going to take CLE as seriously as they should've. But Braylon was still dropping passes, and the "O" continually produced DESPITE all those dumb penalties that put them backwards. That all leads to coaching, which is still needing work, and I feel CLE will continue to underachieve if that doesn't get fixed. CLE will be lucky to get into the playoffs. They don't get a bye every wk.

Wormy Pix I won't get into a debate on how many wins they are going to get this year, because this thread is ONLY meant to give ppl an idea on how these teams really Rank.

As for the wins statement, I guess we can only wait and see. Same way when I make a pick and people bash I have overextended my reasoning I can only say just wait and see.

I said I'd give credit where credit is due, so....

Nice job Mac. You were right. Great call on a Cleveland straight up win.

That's true Mac, I like whormoan reacted to the 10-11 win statement. You are correct on CLE is better than people, even Vegas, gave them credit for. However, I still believe Crennel doesn't have what it takes to beat the "super bowl" teams consistently. I think this monday nighter was more NYG playing terribly than CLE outperforming them.

BOL the rest of the way, and keep up the great posts.

I wish I could spot all the games like this that you do.

the giants were also set-up to lose this game. everything working in the brown's favor on a MNF game at home. desperation game, NY thought they'd be able to get it done with minimal work. the browns also had a healthy squad and a bye week to cope with the dismal start.

Just send me my money +290. 1k wager = +2900. I don't post much like I said but I do read what people have to say and when I agree on something, I'll stick my 2 cents in also. If I posted my plays for you guys, you guys would have a very profitable nfl season so far. I LOVE FOOTBALL MONEY.

Fair enough. We could argue are points till the Cows come home. Only one way to find out, and that's in due time.

Great Call Mac, never should have doubted ya. :toast:

To win like that with all those penalties was something that doesnt happen often. But like Coughlin said, its won on the lines of scrimmage! Giants get pressure, then its a completely different game.

with that said you must be looking at Buffalo+1

Buffalo returns after a bye week, where in the previous week they were handed their first loss in a nasty manner in Arizona. While at the same time the perception of San Diego is at an all time high for the season. Finally, traveling to western New york is never enjoyed.

anyways... i look forward to your three picks

Although I love Buffalo to win the division and be a formiddable opponent in the Playoffs I don't like Buffalo in this spot.

San Diego is about to go on a tear, so I suggest you get on them now before people once again remembered how good this team is.

I repeat San Diego is a top 3 team in the league this year. I really think it's going to be a Washington vs. San Diego Superbowl this year.

Yep, There's going to be 2 types of betters on the Bills on Sunday.

Better A.) Buffalo coming off a bye, mad that they got killed.

Better B.) "Sharps" Buffalo coming off a bye, San Diego with the wrong perception after their big win on Sunday night.

IMO both Better's will be wrong, as San Diego is going to roll the Bills here. This game will be a complete mismatch in every aspect.

For the people who want to get "Sharp" this weekend. Oakland at home get 3 points against the Jets is the "Sharp" play this weekend. No doubt about that, Oakland wins this game by a touchdown from my early look. It's not a play yet, but I am strongly leaning towards it.

why do u think san diego will go on a tear?

do u really think their win over new england was a reflection of how good they are or just how bad new england is currently?

to me it just magnified the patriots weaknesses. the secondary and inexperienced qb. not to take anything away from rivers but nothing he did was impressive. obviously gotta give props for his throws but it was just an all round mismatch in the wr-db matchup.

with that said the patriots had a chance to make a game out of it at the begining of the 2nd half but a goal line stand ended that. cassell missed a wide open target in the endzone. inexperience there.

the chargers still did not have an effective running game. LT's only impressive run was a 27 yarder towards the end of the game. their defense is still giving up a lot of yards. the patriots didnt even attack san diego. i forgot the exact stat they mentioned but something like 70%+ of cassel's passes are under 10 yards.

is this to say they cant beat the bills? depends on edwards. if this game were before edwards got hurt i dont think sd would have won. now im not too sure. but this is the "new" afc. no elite teams anymore. it changes week to week.

I said the same thing when the Chargers had 4 losses, just before their Sunday night game with the Colts. IN which they picked him 5 times and ended up winning 8 of their last 10 to get in the playoffs and AFC championship. People doubted then and they doubt now. San Diego in fact is the best team in the NFL IMO...
