Guys I have read through the entire thread and have followed this from the beginning. First off I believe that you guys have unfortunately put Seaurchin in a tough spot, he is holding the money and because there doesn't seem to be a resolution to the problem anything other than returning the money to both of you will be viewed as a mistake on his part.
This is how I have interpreted things so far, you guys set rules that seemed simple enough, but mistake number one was not getting someone who could impartially mediate any disagreement on a daily basis (Sea agreed to hold the money but I am sure his intent was not to babysit this tourney) Then it seemed like all was fine for a while until the first dispute. At this point the contest should have been stopped until an agreed upon solution, but you guys continued to post plays and bitch..so of course what followed next was piggybacking and or not posting for numerous days, all the signs of two guys never intending to compete in a fair contest. So now you are at a point where a contest in which both of you could have gained the respect of forum members and each other has instead turned into a pissing contest that you both should be ashamed of. There is no solution to this contest, I don't think that either of you will be happy with any solution of past problems because we are near the end of the 30 days and neither one is going to agree to something that slants it in thier direction.
My opinion is simple, you guys should either declare this contest void and take your money back or you can stand up and be REAL MEN and have a two week contest with set rules (like below) and try and gain some of the respectibility you guys have lost in the last 4 weeks.
Contest Rules
1. 2 week contest (14 Days)
2. Minimum of 2 picks per day
3. No Piggybacking (Advantage to posting 1st)
4. Only Pinacle lines to be used
5. Lines are posted in Picks thread at 9am and
those are the lines that are used
6. Picks must be submitted 30 minutes prior to listed start time.
7. No emailed picks, In the event the site is down the day will be deemed NO ACTION (decided on by contest administrator)
With these rules you would have a fair contest, no line disputes as they are posted and no piggybacking. I think this would be a fair resolution to your dispute.
