This has to be the most retarded idea that I've heard of playing the Superbowl in New York. With climate change the way it is today there is no telling what kind of weather they are going to get for the game. If they were holding it today it would have been a disaster. I know if i was a player who has busted my ass for the last 6 months to get to the Superbowl, i would want to be rewarded by having it at a nice location with good weather. And if not that, at least play in a stadium with a retractable dome.
I thought you were gonna go on a rant about how dirty the city is, the drugs, lack of soap and water to people who ride the subway, crime, and all around bad attitude of New Yorkers.
You just mentioned the weather though......OK, carry on.
Oh shit. I didn't hear that.
I feel bad for my wife, it seems like all she ever does is shovel snow.
I know what will make her feel better, when she is done shoveling on Saturday, I'll make her some hot cocoa.

Why does nobody complain about the fact that some championship games(NFC or AFC) are played in places like NE, NY, Green Bay etc. but they complain about SB being played in a cold weather stadium. Bad weather is part of the games and the players have to deal with it if it happens. This has to be the most retarded idea that I've heard of playing the Superbowl in New York. The AFC and NFC Championship games are played in the home teams venues. With the Superbowl they have a choice. If given a choice why play in 20 degree temps or worse and possible ice or blizzard conditions when they can play in a much more controlled environment? Last time I looked pro football was still a spectator sport. It should be played in decent weather where both teams players are able to show off their true skills to the fans, instead of sliding around on an snowy filled or icy field. This is modern times, not the NFL of 60 years ago where they had a limited number of teams and stadiums. There's no need to have to deal with the elements. Anyway, I suspect after this year that the Superbowl will be played exclusively in Florida, California, New Orleans or Texas. They should also require any city that puts a bid in for the Superbowl to have a stadium with a retractable roof. Why does nobody complain about the fact that some championship games(NFC or AFC) are played in places like NE, NY, Green Bay etc. but they complain about SB being played in a cold weather stadium.
