Maryland had the misfortune of winning easily going into their bye week. It´s tough to keep a team of college football players motivated during a bye week after they have pounded an opponent by 38 points. Look for the Terps to come out a tad bit flat. Most folks will want to point to the fact that Maryland was completely routed by Virginia in Virginia last year and that they are at home with revenge. Revenge is great when you are an underdog or small favorite but the Terps are almost a touchdown favorite in this game. Now the revenge angle hurt them. The facts are Virginia has beaten Maryland eight of the last nine times they played. The Terps should be no more than a three point favorite and they are in trouble tonight as favorites of 6 points.

MD will not come out flat tonight. MD and VA don't like each other at all. Read TerrapinTimes.com for some of the hatred. MD's crowd is loud and gives the Terps a great home field advantage. They are 14-2 ATS under Fridge at home. Virginia has a whole bunch of talent but they are still a young team. It will be a heated, windy game.
