Miami is interesting.
They've already knocked off an 18 and a 14. Two more ranked opponents on deck. I think they can handle VT on the road....If they can somehow knock off Ok at home you gotta believe they have a good shot at running the table with the rest of their schedule. I may have to do some future shopping this week.
I took a lot of heat with friends in my living room during our annual CFB Kickoff Party when I made my bold predictions. Preface it by saying that I almost hit the nail on the head last year when I said Oklahoma wins the NC over Florida and Bradford wins the Heisman, but had the wrong team winning...... But anyways, on to 2009. Being a homer I went with LSU over Penn State with Darryl Clark winning the Heisman.
PSU's schedule sets up nicely, but no one seems to think their SOS/Ranking will get them into the BCS game, but I still think they make it. Though right now I'd probably have to vote Royster over Clark to be honest, but I'll stick with Clark as my darkhorse Heisman candidate.
LSU's schedule doesn't quite set up as nicely as PSU, especially considering they have a game against Tebow & Co on 10/10, but that's why this is a longshot. Here's to hoping. After this weekend, that road victory at UW looks a little more impressive, huh?
Miami vs Alabama
My method for getting to this prediction was to pick the two teams I thought had a shot to make it but were least likely to actually get there. Throw out your longshot predictions.
if north carolina doesnt win the acc they will at least play spoiler
miami wont leave chapel hill with a W
Not a joke at all. Just a longshot prediction. The championship game is never played by the favorites in the early part of the season. So I decided to pick the teams I think are least likely of making it there but do actually have a legitimate chance. Oh and I think Miami wins against VT FWIW. Oklahoma not so sure about. Let's see how VT goes.Is this a joke? Miami loses this week. They are nowhere near championship calibre. They have 0% chance of being in the National Championship game.
