What defines a SLOW-PAY?

If a particular book states that on their website they pay within 24 hours of a withdrawl request and pays 71 hours later......is this a slow-pay?

Again, asking this because I do not know the answer.

Also, can somebody reflect with any accuracy how many reports of 7+ day slow pays Royal has incurred, say in the last 6 months?

I would say anything over the time it clearly states on its website that a particular book uses for a payment schedule...anything over that is a slow pay.

I requested a neteller payout this morning because of all of this and was paid in 15 minutes. They had some problems before just like most books but nothing in the last 10-12 months.

Royal is paying faster than Pinnacle today. My withdrawal from Pinnacle this morning took 20 minutes to hit my neteller account.

You are sinking fast. Let's see, website says, paid within 24 hours, in writing. I would tend to think anything after 24 hours is slow. Or a fail to meet an obligation printed on their own website. They finally took down the 100% satisfaction guaranteed, best customer service in the business guy. 24 hours means within a day. Can you imagine an overnight courier who stated positively overnight, and then delivered 3 days later? Do not put in writing something you cannot adhere to. Especially your own business. Stop it Fish, you are killing me here.

Would agree in the general sense of the defintion, my feelings too.

This question came up at the meeting in Vegas we had with the likes of Tow, SBR, LVA, etc., etc.

The general consensus was 7 business days, not what was said on a particular website, and after that if it were determined that they were indeed stalling that amount of time, that particular book should be agreed upon to be taken down by all parties who have them as advetisers.

I see their point, NO WAY should a book ever take more than 7 business days to payout a request via Neteller.

Froggie- So you tell me what you as a player does if you know a book as been a repeated slowpay over their own suggested time limit and yet never a NO PAY as far as you know?

Do you play there?
Do you just say No way, I will never play there?
Do you take a wait and see approach?
Do you play with a small balance there if they are a good book numbers wise and play it by ear?
Do you cut them slack if they bailed out previous books, offered bonuses and free contests through websites you visit?

Do not put a commitment on your own website you are not going to meet. It is not about what certain people think a slow pay should be, but a failure of a commitment. You might as well put an asterisk after the 24 hours. Maybe under 168 hours if our Neteller is dry, or whatever other lame excuse we come up with. They set themselves up for failure, by not meeting their customer commitment. Would be better off saying nothing. What about, you will be paid within a week?

I THOUGHT DOUG J AND OF ARE ONE IN THE SAME???????

GA[/QUOTE]

Why is that ? Back it up with some evidence ! Why would I waste posts under another name, it reduces the number of shirts I get.

Frog lives 3,000 miles from me, never even met him, but I consider him a good poster.

I post here only under DougJ, formerly Postaldoug ( few posts under that name). I dropped the postal when I quit USPS.

I never heard of anybody not getting paid through the whole Football season and the College basketball season. what people cant put through their THICK heads is alot of books that are on the Donbest Screen have been short before, long before they even got on the Donbest Screen. do you even know why these books are still around, because when they got pumped up they did the right thing and paid everybody. if a book has slow paid you in the PAST its alot different than a book like ESB that never pays. I could tell you stories about some of the books that are present on the Donbest Screen that would be unbelieveable to believe but all true.

I had an 18 year career in customer service. I was allowed no exceptions, no complaints. The Cardinal sin in a business is to make a promise you have no intention of keeping. Do I play there? No. Do you say No way, I will never play there? I never say never, but highly unlikely. I have taken the wait and see approach, and it just seems to keep on going. I do not play there, will not play there, even with a tiny balance. What would the point be? I ask no quarter and give none. They did nothing for me, did not bail out any book I was in, no bonus would get me back. I disqualify myself from the contests. I do have a lifelong ethic of giving someone a shot to win money back I took from them. But that was voided on the exiting jerk off. You raise some valid points Fish. But business is business, I was treated badly, never forget, and rarely forgive. One of my zero tolerance taboos. Do not mess with a man's money.

Fish you have always been a great mod, Always been cool to me. I just hate to see you in this pickle. Someday I hope to look you in the eye and shake your hand. You are one of the best guys here. And we have swapped some fun stories. The bank machines, poker slots, was sure a simpler time. I have to finish my portable live well for fishing.

No, I was a customer service rep, a customer engineer for IBM for 18 years. If you received one customer complaint, you took a hit on your rating, and your pay plan. In other words, it messed with your money. Rainbow I think you should change to Chubby Checker. You are an expert at the twist.

Yes, much simpler time perhaps. :)
Seriously, do not consider myself a good mod in all honesty, as sometimes my piss poor writing skills do not always reflect what I am really trying to get across. :) Numbers guy, not a letters guy. :drink:

I"m sorry I"m not a mind reader like you. if someone speaks on a gambling forum in these days CUSTOMER SERVICE for 18yrs without specifying engineer for IBM what should I think, I"m not that brilliant to think different. now you want me to change my name from Rainbow to Chubby Checker. maybe you should have it changed for me since we not in person.

From Royal's FIRST Promoter (Back in the GALAXY Days)

I have been a promoter of Royal since DAY ONE (They began as Galaxy by Chester ***) and as a matter of fact was the FIRST AFFILIATE of Royal Sports. Kevin is OK but Whatever is happening down there - THEY ARE NOT PAYING. They're past due with me for 3 months. My links didnt "work" for the ENTIRE football season. Some of my referrals are getting slow paid. Sportsbookreview.com ratings are falling WAY WAY down. Again, I really don't blame Kevin BUT HE IS THE HEAD OF AN OBVIOUSLY SINKING SHIP and to ALL WHO ARE PROMOTING ROYAL - I simply say this: WATCH OUT as it has been getting worse and worse over time. I have brought them literally MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in Annual Revenue (thats REV not HANDLE) and have been screwed up one side and down the other, from The Heritage folks who came in to "advise" thru Roberto, and The Dutch, and on and on and on. Now you see 25% re-ups? Danger in RED LETTERS gang. Too many good books out there. Get out of Royal. Enough said!

PS: IF I ever get paid - it will be pennies from heaven. I have completely written off the possibility. If they DO pay me, I will post here.

Feel free to share your experience with Royal, and please email general so he can verify the complaint and assist....but please do not use this thread or forum to recruit players or promoters to your "endorsed" books...we have a site promotions area for that...

thank you

I have only had one experience with Royal and it was great. I was a weekly winner in the Weekend Warrior contest and when I emailed Royal about the $50 it was in my account with in an hour; I also got a congradulatory e-mail from them.
