For the last couple of seasons I've used spreadsheet data as a starting point for my baseball handicapping. In the next day or two I'll be finished porting that to be online and pretty much fully automated. If any of y'all feel like volunteering to help proof it and check for any parts that are broken let me know and I'll send the link when it's up.

It's taking longer than I expected to get all the updating to work right. I'm going to work on this over the weekend and do my best to get it finished.

You will find snipets of my sheets all over this site. (look in many of the threads that Ace posts in) I'm looking at putting some of my sheet online as well. One place to consider is EditGrid.com. Online spreadsheet with basically all of the same functions as Excel. Really neat app.

I'll post here when I get it up and working. It's all just back-end work I'm dealing with now, and I'm a lot slower at that kind of programming than I am with front-end stuff.

I hope it'll work out to be a nice "at a glance" starting place, though.

The page is ready for testing. I may add one or two more items yet (weather would be good, for example), but it's up and pretty much working.

I'll need to keep an eye on updating for the next several days, to make sure the various database tables are all getting the new information needed. I may also need to post some explanations of scoring forecasts, but the basics of it are based on work by John Jarvis (http://knology.net/~johnfjarvis/baseball.html).

It's important to note that even though I've set up the page to highlight certain items, it's not intended to make automatic picks, but rather to call certain possible plays to attention so they can be looked at further.
