My neteller acct has been closed. Why?

I just deposited money to play the Football games.
Today I tried to transfer money into one of my sportsbook but.. .....I got a message saying "Your accout has been closed" from Neteller.

I will contact the C/S,.. but why??

Anyone had this same experience?? let me know.

From the details you provided it would seem to me that your account was closed because you logged in from outside of the country you originally signed up in. This is a fraud prevention feature but they can turn it off on your account if you ask them to

Call them at 001 403 233 9466 or use the live help and they should straighten it out for you

Cheaters - I agree on that first time poster stuff, he's exactly right too. My buddy who travels a lot found this out the hard way, they froze his account for this same thing. From time to time they will freeze your account for other things too, not sure what prompts it but usually they release it after a period of "investigation".

Anyway to answer your question no you are not the first one (and won't be the last) but it does not necessarily mean you are doing anything wrong, or that you are in trouble. Lot of reasons they do it.

they sometimes close accounts down for security reasons and want you to call in to verify info. if you signed on from the usa when you opened the account and are now trying to access from a foreign ip address, your account will be closed until you call them. that happened to me when i went to check my balance while on vacation in another country.

This some type of scam - if Neteller closed my account it would be similiar to Bank of America closing my accounts with all of my money in them - what would I do? Would talk about getting in touch with or maybe shoot them an email to say hi or I would contemplate calling them for two days? THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS CALL THEM AND FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON!!! This guy pulled a scam.
