I like the walks, thats one of the reasons he hits 300 and still has 20+ home runs. Pitchers normally can't make him swing at garbage so he gets better pitches to blast. That's what makes this strike out on a ball way out of the zone on a 3-2 count even more frustrating . Had a chance to load em up again for Bruce and he gave it away.

The good news is yesterday's marathon 16 inning game between these teams burned up both staffs so its a big edge to the team that gets a quality start

I don't think 20 HR is worth 250 million just IMO

I agree he doesn't strike fear of god like some guys in history. However his stats really are amazing and if he was in NY or LA he would be a household name.

He hits 314 lifetime, averages 25 Hrs and almost 100 walks leading to an OBP of .417, which would be top 20 of all time. His slug pct .542 would put him in top 35 of all time.

Oh yeah I'm not arguing how good he is, I just think for what he gets paid that he's there to drive in runs. I have money on Reds to win the NL and World Series so whatever works lol.
