My Interview with Pat Summerall

I got Keith Jackson earlier this summer because he finally retired from ABC Sports. The working guys are just usually very busy. I will try again to get Brent, but can't promise it.

I don't consider myself a youth in the business after six years, 500 interviews, hosting a radio program for a few years, not to mention working with newspapers, newsletters, magazines, and running my own online publication.

I am doing more entertainment work as you can see from my recent stuff with Actors, Music Artists, and the such that have some kind of sports tie.

I will be doing more of that in the future.

I know I still have a lot to learn don't get me wrong, but I consider myself a veteran now.

Excellent interview...For about A solid Decade when They were in Their prime , there Was No combination of broadcasters better than Madden n summerall !!!

Got to say I think Brookshier/ Summerall better than Madden(ssoooo overrated)/Summerall. From 71-76 nothing better than NFC east games being done by these guys and in particular Skins/Boys. Eagles games were good as well as Brooksie a DB with Eagles. It was just two guys at a game with no over hype or gibberish like ranting. Brookshire had some good knowledge. From what I've read a few drinks were consumed yet couldn't really tell.

Didn't he get his new liver in a shady way?


I think he was on the donor list in two states.

That's what I was wondering too. I wonder if any young people with their whole lives ahead of them died because someone (Pat) who abused their liver got one first.

My brother's wife used to work at an organ donor place when Mickey Mantle got his liver. She was so livid about him using his money to procure a liver that she wouldn't even talk about it.
