I love the card today and I will have all of my plays in my normal College Basketball thread including this 10*, my first of 2014.
Coach Larry Brown has the SMU Mustangs playing great basketball going 18-5 thus far and on the verge of reaching the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1993. They are 12-0 at home, 7-3 in the conference, tied for 3rd with Memphis. When they played Cincinnati on the road, it went to the very end losing by eight. I watched this game as I had Cincy -7.5 and felt lucky to get the win. Cincy will have trouble containing point guard and leading scorer Nic Moore.
At home, SMU has beaten Memphis by 15, Temple by 23, USF by 17 and Connecticut by nine. Meanwhile Cincy won by Temple 11, USF by five and in a tough match this past Thursday Connecticut by five.
This game is also one of those system type games where the ranked team isn't favored and that typically spells doom. Look for the #7 ranked Bearcats to lose their third game of the year.
