It's appearnt you never played football at a highly competitive level .. Those kids will soak in ice baths for two days. That is the most physical game I have seen in at least 10 years
Still, these are young guys, they had about 4 weeks off before that game and now have another 1.5 weeks to recover. Even if this game maybe was tougher than 90% of their games this year, that situation shouldn't be a factor for two well-conditioned teams.
They had a far longer layoff/less games in the last few weeks than during the weekly grind of regular season and in addition to that we aren't talking about Yale or Akron, where the physical level of these athletes isn't as high as it is at football programs like Ohio State, Oregon or other playoff caliber type programs. Unless a team is depleted by injuries, has depth problems and/or needs to use shorter rotations than usual, the physicality of the semi-finales shouldn't be a factor for the outcome of the NC game. But that's just my opinion
