You accounts closed due to gambling transactions? Fuck Flagstar and their bullshit "midwestern values"! I'd wager over 50% of their corporate officers and been to Las Vagas.

I'm going to Vegas tomorrow...Imagine the scene at my Bank this afternoon:

Teller: Hello, Mr. Hal how may I assist you today?
Mr. Hal: Well, I'm going to Vegas tomorrow and I'm going to need $XXXXX
Teller: Unfortuneately Mr. Hal, it is against out policy to dispense YOUR money to organizations WE see unfit.
Mr. Hal: Your kidding. I'm only going for the $0.99 Shrimp Cocktail and the $3.99 Steak Dinner at........and I maybe a little after hours a Dre's.
Teller: Sorry Mr Hal, that is aiding and abetting those evil Gambling outfits.

You pay these fucks to invest your money? Plenty of institutions that will be more than happy to bank yourt business. BTW, ask them why the:bigfinger y had to drop their stock dividend by 40% last year?

What did your debit card transactions show up as? I can almost guarantee you that this was the issue.

Again, I agree. It's the easiest way for your bank to find out. I'm sure whatever book you were depositing into, was put on their radar, so they flagged any transactions from that book.

Well, that's better than it saying Sportingbet Plc, but I still think that's what set off the alarms.

IMO, the only reason why a bank could\should care would be if THEY were directly involved in the transaction-and using THEIR debit card would be doing exactly that.

I would go in on Tuesday and demand to speak to the bank president and pull your money out. Banks are closed Monday for MLK Day.

I'm not at all well versed on banks and procedures, etc. But when the bank which is closing all his accounts issues him a check and he goes to ANY bank for opening another acct. eyebrows will be raised if not actual questions themselves for paperwork.
This all sounds mightly easy--just go to another bank; but in reality?

go to www.netbank.com...
Easy bank for wire transactions and they are a web based bank...JMO

I have an account with them but they don't work with neteller. For whatever reason they are on neteller's list of banned banks.

When you use words like "Make them"...I start to lose confidence (and I think you are a well meaning person), but "MAKE THEM".. These are banks and do what they want for the most part. (Banks are an arm of the government) They can very simply say that YOU violated whatever rule number..

I hate banks, I started out in the I/T industry working for a bank.
I know every, dirty, low down scam they legally pull, from international floats, to hidden transaction fees and everything in between.

I'm the OA prick who gets paid to analyze computer operations, I've seen it all.

Having said that, Wachovia is a lesser evil, try them.

I have a friend and BoA bank of america did the same thing to him this week.

One final bump. Hoping someone can ease my fears that this is not Neteller related or maybe just for deposits TO and NOT related to withdrawals.

NEVER

If I should occur ANY type of problem whatsoever, will report it immediately on the forum.

I don't anticipate myself having any problems with BofA because of my dealings with Neteller.
