lot of work done there man! great job

it looks like a TON of work, but its really not THAT bad. when you get to know excel, the basic thing of the autofill button coupled with formulas is a lifesaver. you gotta write the first formula then just drag it to every cell with autofill.

you must enter them in their correct alphabetical spot on the "Translation-Pitchers" worksheet....then give them a power ranking

Jake peavy is 340.
the average MLB pitcher is 225.
Edwin Jackson is 100.

Then go to the User interface (Power Rankings) Page....and you'll have to write the new pitchers name in manually, as he wont show up on the drop down box until i fix it up

once again, beautiful... is there away that when we add new pitchers in the spreadhseet that we can copy formulas so that the new pitchers stats are updated also....? like if i added homer bailey today, assigned him a power ranking for a couple days, then copied and entered a formula so that the system goes out and grabs all his stats and then assigns him a power ranking based on his stats...?

Wrong forum, but are you playing any NBA tonight? I'd go out on a limb saying you will have a pretty big play on the 1st half over as it fits criteria.

detroit and A's sound right, did not cap the royals game because i was too tired and went to bed...

the only prob, which isnt really a prob with box's excellent system is the addition of new pitchers and getting their current stats up and running....but definetely love this new system, and we should all thank box for being generous enough to share it, most charge or do not disclose anything

Braves are showing value

Twins should be: -116
Twins are currently: -185

I'm personally playing 4* Braves +165

I dont recommend anyone follow just yet, things need to be tracked and tweaked. Braves one of the best teams in baseball on the road. Johan overvalued. Hudson can hold his own.

box, can u help me with something....

when i go to the WQ-pitchers section and press update stats, it updates the stats but then screws all the pitchers formulas on the 'look-up values' page, which then makes the power rankings page on the pitchers all N/A

Bump.

Box, great effort on your part with the file! I am back from vacation today & I will check into your file further tomorrow for any comments I may have.

But NickFantana said one thing that I wanted to repeat. You certainly can benefit from using your Office 2007 suite and simply saving the file as an Office 97-2003 file so that you can use the ability to refresh all data instantaneously as mentioned.

I'll go under the hood your file (am too lazy to do it now; rather, I'm quite beat!) & see what thoughts I have. Just wanted to chime in right now on this.
