Do you guys know how many Muslim doctors there are in America? Highly trained specialists that train other doctors in my old city New York? Compared to other groups, Muslims are one of the top educated, successful, and highest earners in America.

In regards to Syria, everyone was living peacefully under Assad before the uprising. Christians, Muslims and Jews enjoyed a good life there. The numbers you presented are skewed for they do not include "Homicides" perpetrated by the state or in the name of sharia law! Stoning deaths are not included in the homicide stats. China and North Korea also have low to zero homicide rate, but if you were to include all the "missing or disappearing" citizens the number would be much higher. Until Muslim countries have a thriving Jewish community (actually any thriving non-Muslim religious community) and women are treated equally it's a fallacy to say that Islam is a religion of peace!

As for Israel, Syria has been at a relative calm with them for decades, probably more than any Arab country in the area. And yes, there has always been stability in Syria, more than in any other Arab state. Believe what you wish and hear on the news, it's all good and I have no problem with it. But, I'm just stating the facts and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Also, not defending Iran or anyone, as I think they are extremists. But, in the last 30 years, what has Iran exactly done to hurt anyone? Many of my opinions about Syria come from a Lebanese Muslim that still has family there. He still conducts business in the ME, and he still visits his family. He's probably in the ME two months a year

As for Iran, they are to this day one of the biggest exporters of terrorism in the world. Just like Saddam, they finance terrorism, they reward terrorism, they condone terrorism, they train terrorists and they supply terrorists, To this day, Syria is a proxy for Iran to finance and supply the war against Israel.

We have issues as well, but we would choose to live in peace. They choose NOT to, that's a huge difference.

Iran finances and Syria enables organizations that exist solely to destroy Israel. Their charters state there can be no peace until Israel does not exist.
