What would you choose to be a Musician, Actor, Athlete or a Politician?

It would probably be a musician. Although a successful actor pretty much has it made for the work they have to do. Politician? Forget it. I would have said athlete, but depending on the sport you play, you usually suffer from all of the wear and tear on you body years later.

Like your answer Sooners. I'm not sure even Steve Stevens could lie well enough and often enough to be a top-notch politician.

The wear and tear on a lot of musicians bodies from the hard drugs and alcohol, and being a roadie nonstop for 30+ years sometimes is just as bad if not worse in some cases.

Actor

It doesn't seem to be as grueling as going on tour as a musician...

I would like Keith Richards and just get a new blood transfusion every year. Clean the system out...

On second thought, even the ugliest golfers still get the finest looking ho's out there. Sounds like my kind of sport. There are probably more groupies in golf than there is in music...

A very succssesful (long term) politician has to work very hard 24/7 to keep his closet doors closed and often has to be fake instead of being himself.

An athlete depending on the sport may have to worry about being a role model and may have to hide some phases of their lifestyle.

Actors and musicians pretty much get a pass on their skeletons in their closets and their lifestyles.

I'd probably go actor , but some of these baseball contracts are unbelievable. Actor or MLB player.

Actor. You can have a career for as long as you want (or are in demand). Most music groups, no matter their success or popularity have a 10 year window (most, not all). Sure, they can play fairs, festivals, etc....but unless they are a legendary group (Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, James Taylor, etc - bands that are currently touring) their music isn't in demand anymore (and therefore their popularity wanes).

Politician, no way in hell.

Athlete would be cool in your prime...but unless you are a HOF type player once your playing days are over, there's not much out there for you except being an analyst or a coach. It would be a fun ride though while you're in the prime of your career.

If you were a successful athlete, what sport would you prefer?

Baseball is on the road all year.

Football is brutal physically, plus the pay isn't what most star baseball players make (minus a few).

Hockey, NBA?
