MSNBC was the victim of a hoax when it reported that an adviser to John McCain had identified himself as the source of an embarrassing story about former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the network said Wednesday. ............................................................

Eisenstadt identifies himself on a blog as a senior fellow at the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy. Yet neither he nor the institute exist; each is part of a hoax dreamed up by a filmmaker named Eitan Gorlin and his partner........................................................

Eisenstadt's "work" had been quoted and debunked before. The Huffington Post said it had cited Eisenstadt in July on a story regarding the Hilton family and McCain.

"not properly vetted", now there's a surprise

I know Muddy, as is McCain. But for some reason, people just won't let her fade away, and these "news" stories keep popping up.

People who lose are quickly forgotten. Kerry / Edwards, Gore, Dole / Kemp.

I like Palin, but she's a non-issue right now.

The last thing I'm thinking about is 2012.

She's already getting ready for 2012. Too polarizing of a figure. First impressions are very important. And a lot of the people who hate her now are going to hate her in 2012. Future of the party is Jindal.

ok I see what your saying I agree shes a non issue right now I guess we just got to wait another week or two untill the media gets sick of her.

By the way if she do run in 2012 do you think she actually got a shot as the party nomination and then president. I dont think she got even a little shot as president I just cant see enough people voting for her. As for republican leader maybe but I doubt that too I think they'll find someone else over the next few years.

What do you think.

Based on attitudes towards her today, she doesn't have much chance. The media is very powerful, and they despise her. However, four years is an eternity in politics, and things can & do change.

As of this moment, I wouldn't want her on top of the ticket, she has too much to overcome. I expect she'll run for the nomination.

Who knows, by 2012, we might be looking for some military person. I hope not, but shit happens.

It's pure Comedy Gold watching the moonbats try to shape public opinion.

It doesn't matter how they do it either...lies, false stories, hoaxes...it doesn't bother them a bit.

Attack her daughters...the Downs baby...doesn't matter...what a bunch of cowardly pukes.

They are scared to death of Palin...and with good reason.

Once again she set audience records ...this time it was Greta's largest audience of late...or ever..not sure.

Sarah must be be spot on...because the moonbats are throwing the kitchen sink at her.

Then they say...they really don't care about her.

Yeah right. :lolBIG:
