The main problem is that many baseball players do this, even St. Louis pitchers admitted to doing it. I don't see how it is legal. I thought i read somewhere specifically that no foreign substance may be added to a ball. Regardless, it is shameful for any player to have to use substances for grip, etc.. Just play ball...

You should have paid attention to what Curt what saying. He was explaining the difference between rosin and vaseline.
