do you ask every new poster if he is Mr KEnnedy? Why would you ask NOreaga out of the blue a question like that? What was your sharp angle. Noreaga is a total clown and a waste to read

What kind of question is that?

No I don' ask every poster if he is Mr Kennedy...I just happened to pick up on certain tendencies they both had. :103631605

The IP'S match dude. Take it from me an IT professional

MrKennedy 68.225.94 xxx
Noreaga 68.225.94 xxx

Wilhelm just crossed out the last 3 for privacy reasons.

Chances of a poster here having that ip with different last 3 digits is about 5000-1. That IP indicated the area and node the user is connecting to. With those IP'S you are looking at the same township. So it's either they are both Noreaga, or it is Noreaga and a friend who lives 2 houses down.

Baseballguy,

Your ip can change dramatically at the same location with the same isp.

For example, when I want to change my ip, I simply switch my cable connection from the nic card to the usb and I get an entirely different ip.

Same isp, same location, dramatically different ip simply switching from nic to usb.

one cannot pinpoint a location of 999 houses with an ip.

I would post the two ip's that I obtain when doing this but would rather not.

Just try it if you have cable and you'll see the difference is based on the mac address.

ips are assigned to mac addresses not street addresses

Did you even read what I wrote?

It makes no difference what the last 3 are. His host is cox communications. Last 3 digits would mean a max of 999 different people.. 999 people is nothing thats like 4 street blocks.

Again they are either both Noreaga or one is him and one is a friend who lives in the same zipcode.

I hate to be the techie here.. but its actually 253 people, it goes to .255 two of which are broadcast IPs and are non-usable. :)

Shouldn't it be 254 then, or doesn't 000 count? :)
