Have a great conversation with the first line of contact. Arrive at the office early, dressed like Frank Sinatra. They stick me in a conference room and the gentlemen I spoke to says..."Queen Bitch is in meeting so I am going to have you meet with someone else." I meet with a dinosaur for 15 minutes and she ALMOST puts me to sleep. How people like her have jobs are beyond me. Dude comes back in and tells me the Queen Bitch is tied up and cannot meet with me. He pretends to write what times I am available to meet with her next week and rushes me out the door. I have not received a phone call or e-mail from him. Not a job I really wanted but I wasted 3 hours of my day, gas and energy to go there. I've never experienced anything like this before; I've had interviews with jerkoffs that I knew were not going well but this floored me. Sent an e-mail to the guy asking for an explanation. :>(
Not sure you understand Murph. You schedule an interview and once the person gets there tells him/her that the manager is unavailable to meet with you. I was very professional and only used the term Queen Bitch in this post. I would never say anything like that to someone. The guy loved me personally until I got into the office. I present myself well and am not ugly or fat. Something went down and I want to know what happened.

In addition, you will never get a straight answer from an exit interview. Hopefully, you got some "skills time" when speaking with them in order to keep your game sharp. Besides that, you invested 3 hours in another experience.

Yea I had a dude one time who got me to take 2 hours off from my job I currently had to come interview with him about a job he had that I was really interested in, and had been for several years honestly. Long story short, the guy rails me completely on everything I do, calls me out for looking away for less than 1 second while talking to him, and basically goes on to belittle me about anything I knew related to our industry we worked in. Then, he proceeds to tell me that he's not even hiring, but likes to see what's out there all the time just in case, has 2 qualified people already working there right now that could if he wanted then to enter the Mgmnt Program and achieve the position. I was told by several, including his own employees, that the guy was a total DICK before I went, and it took all I had for me not to call him that and say F*Off and tell him this is the first interview I have walked out of in front of his entire staff. But, I held through to let him finish his King Bitch mentality, and got a laugh out of it when I left...

I was an interview for something once (not a job) and I was around 22 and asked something stupid like "what can your organization offer me?" He laughed and said "what can we offer you? The real question is what can you offer us?" It opened my eyes a bit.
You are actually interviewing an employer as much as they are interviewing you so this is the best thing for you. No need to be agitated about it.
