Trevor Knight against Bama was a complete shocker, never saw that one coming.

Josh Huepel calling a great game was just as big a shocker. Given his track record so far, I didn't think he had a chance against the Kirby Smart/Saban duo.

Shaw......he only missed 3 passes. He also caught a TD and rushed for one. Trifecta and throwing for more than 300.

Not to mention no INTs...that means he had ONE all year long. That kid is impressive and was completely overshadowed. Marks my words...he will impress at the combine and his stock will soar!

This is obviously an incomplete list. Sure sure....OU did great with Knight and Manziel saved TAMU, but you have to admit Oregon looked amazing with Case McCoy at QB.....

Shock doesn't even do it justice. But to anyone who follows the Sooners they took the field with a great deal of confidence, much like Texas did when they played OU. They finally jelled and it showed on both sides of the ball. When was the last time an Alabama QB got sacked that many times and that does not count the balls thrown away on purpose. I think it was Stoop's most impressive win ever but that is just me.

It was a great win, but I'm still not sold on Josh Huepel. I want to see him call good games on a weekly basis where he doesn't have the luxury of 4 weeks to prepare for a team. Up to this point he's shown that he's not good at adjusting on the fly. Especially if the offense is dealing with any kind of injuries. I also think it took him too long to find the right formula on offense and matching it with his players talents. The Knight/Bell musical chairs and flipping from conventional drop back offense to zone read was confusing to everybody. I'm still not convinced that if Bell hadn't gotten hurt that we would have still seen him starting these games. This next season will tell us all we need to know about Huepel and if he's grown into the job or not.
