Sweet catomine just looked like a older horse against babies - physically looked a superior specimen.

Would oppose it next year on the grounds that it is unlikely to improve much and others will catch up physically but yes a special performance.

Good question. Well, I didn't think much of the European horses to tell you the truth. Of the two Euros he had the better pedigree and a lot of experience (12 starts which is really worth something in these races) Plus he was double the price of the other Euro who had half the pedigree. So I took a swing and it worked out.
