Well, since freezing my record and just playing one strong pick per day, we've gone 3-1. Let's try to keep it going.

White Sox -119

I love getting Quintana at this price. 3.05 era on the year, but his era for last 3 games is bloated by one poor performance at Minnesota. Interesting to note his WHIP for past 3 is equal to his year total WHIP. Home era is 2.70. His record should be much better, but he hasn't gotten the run support.

Enter Anibal Sanchez. 7-13 on the year, 5.70 era. It's even bleaker for him on the road. 3-7 7.11.

Summary, Quintana should be able to keep Tiger bats at bay, and Chicago offense should give enough run support vs Sanchez.

I did think about it mn, but White Sox pen is almost .5 era better, so just in case they don't get to Sanchez, or Tigers to get to Quintana some, I still have pen vs pen to pull out the win. Game underway. Let's go Sox!!!

4-1 now since changing things up. And I have a night cap I'm liking a lot.

Rangers TT over 4 -135

Even in the Rangers losses, they are scoring tons of runs. I can throw out a bunch of stats to back this play up, but I'm 5 deep in IPA's right now, and just don't feel like it. Let's play it and hope to cash.

I don't think you need to include all of your reasons for your picks (unless, of course, it helps you sort it out). You have proven yourself to be a successful capper who is thorough and who puts a great deal of effort and solid analysis into your picks!

Split the day, with the Rangers letting us down. They had multiple opportunities to add runs and they hit the ball hard. The dagger in the back was the great play in centerfield in the top of the 7th with 2 runners on. If that ball drops, it's a certain push. And how about Safeco field. You can hear a pin drop in there. No one in the stands.

Anyway, let's see if we can find another winner today.
