Last add on for June 2nd. Padres over 7.5. I don't get this number at all, so if I'm falling for the bait, so be it. Both of these teams have been playing in high scoring games recently. Combined era of starters is close to 9.50, and 11 the last 3. Mariners score 5.67 rpg vs righties, and Padres score 4.66 vs lefties for a total of 10.33. Unless these lines makers know something I don't, we should have ourselves a winner here fellas.

June 3rd:

Texas -132

Seattle won a slug fest late and roll into Texas to play for the top spot in the West. Not much info on Darvish this year as of yet, but he has been solid throughout his 3 year mlb career. Walker is no slouch either, but has regressed as of late. I like the fact that Texas has held their own vs stronger competition. Seattle swept at home vs Minn recently, with Walker pitching that last game. Unless I'm missing something, I like the Rangers to with this game and am surprised the line was this low.

Looking for Pomeranz to get back into form. Rockies won't be scoring like they did a mile high vs the Reds.

Going to assume Padres hold on to their 4 run lead going into the 8th. If not will fix record tomorrow. If they do, a nice 2-0 night. I feel like I am getting into a groove. Not locked into any plays yet for tomorrow. Everything looks pretty tight, but have a few leans. Will have to look more tomorrow.

I think this game in San Diego tonight will be a lot different from last night. Bettis' high era at first didn't set off any whistles, since he pitches in Coors Field half the time. But his road era isn't all that much better. And his last 3 games he is sporting a 8.40 whopper. Cashner on the other hand is giving up over 4 runs at home. And hopefully we get some help from both bullpens. Col at 4.39 and SD at 5.01. The only thing that worries me a bit is the Padres averaging only 3.33 rpg vs righties. But looking back, some of them righties are far better than Bettis. Let's hope for a slugfest on the west coast tonight ladies.
