Estrada on the hill for the Jays, 2.95 era, 4-1 on the road. His overall record of 7-5 should be better, but he just hasn't gotten the run support of other Jay starters. He'll get the run support tomorrow vs Pineda. 5.04 era at home. I'll take the better pitcher on the better team, in the hunt for 1st place at a cheap price.

The o/u was at 7.5 but dropped to 7 when I was looking at this matchup, so I'm gonna be patient and wait to see if it comes back up. Verlander and Duffy are just pitching absolutely lights out. It would be silly to try to pick a winner. KC has trouble scoring on the road, and to face Verlander just is not fair. Detroit's offense is a roller coaster ride, but Duffy should keep them on the kiddie ride.

Just a few days ago, DBacks won this matchup 9-0. Syndergaard is not himself lately. I don't care how hard he throws. Major league hitters can catch up to flat heat. After Shipley's dud of a major league debut, he's been awesome. Mets got 3 hits and 0 runs in 7 innings off of him in his last start.

Reds should be able to light up Urena pretty good in this hitters ballpark. DeSclafani has been victim of going up against some good pitching and not getting run support. He'll get it tomorrow and keep pitching like he has been. As a Red fan, I hope they keep him around for a while. Red's bullpen much improved from the 1st half. Rollin' with my Big Red Machine.

Rookie Taillon has game and he's tough to hit. 47 KOs vs 8 walks, 2.85 era. Pirates hitter have had success against the Shark, and I've got them scoring at least 4 runs.

Aug 15th, we squeezed out the win on the over with a 5 run 8th inning. Padres bats have died down. I'm going to ride them trending down, and Snell can shut them down. He's had maybe 2 subpar performances in 11 outings in his rookie season. He's got nasty stuff and will keep Padres bats at bay. Jackson is a decent pitcher, and has 4 of 5 quality starts since joining the starting rotation. Rays should win this game, but not going for the -170 line.

I went ahead and let Varkey have the Snakes last night with great trepidation. Asking them to win two in a row at home is nothing short of miraculous. I wish you double luck with the play......DGL!
