In any case I think they are on Pin's end. From the posts on this and other sites, this book - which draws many hosannas from down on their knees bettors - has a less than stellar track record on technical issues.

I got a notebook for Christmas, and was checking various sites out, and making some favorites. No problems at all getting to Rx (and I'm typing this from the Dell notebook} and to a bunch of sportsbook sites and other sites.

But not of course Pinnacle. Oh yeah, I got to their site, easy enough. But it was in fuggin Russian! Great. Get me Putin on the line. Not speaking Russky,
there was no way to change the language.

I also tried accessing the site from other sites, like SBR. Same result. I don't think the fault is in the notebook, since Pinnacle is the only site that came up Russian. Weird.

Do you see on the left-hand side of the page, just under the place that lists your balance? There is a drop-down arrow that allows you to choose your language. Click on that to get a menu and choose the language of your choice.

Right. But to change the language you have to read the language you're looking at. And I don't read Russian. (Spanish yes, and I could figure out Italian, Portuguese, French and German, but Russian is in the Cyrillic script, it's a jumble to a Westerner not schooled in it.)

I emailed the ladies in Pin's cs, maybe they have a solution. It's gotta be on their end, I get every other site in English, and they're notorious for problems on thier site.

Your balance is on the left side in numbers whether it is in Russian or English or Portuguese. Just under that is a drop-down arrow to get a menu. This is a graphic and is not in Russian. Click on the drop-down arrow and you will see an option for English. If you are seeing Pinnacle's site in Russian you can still see the numbers of your balance and the drop-down list.

Right, thanx. I do have the option, got it also from Pin. Accoding to them, I have to go to the Enroll Now option to get to Change Language. Since i'm enrolled, that didn't dawn on me.

BTW, this is the first new pc I've had in five years. OS is XP. Since when did microsoft stop packaging Outlook express in their os software? I mean, they're selling the email server now? Can I get Netscape or Eudora gratis?
