Nichols is an idiot.

She is seemed like she signed up for the service.

She seems like she got paid by Dr. Bob, the same way agents pay Mel Kiper to rate their clients higher.

Disagree with that.

She actually knew what she was talking about for the most part. Had some good info already. Gotta give her props for being willing to do the story.

Is this true? Any stories on it

typical fluff story with no depth. How much more $$ was bet on Bob's games then normal games? I like the way Bob picks a winning % based on what was it from 2003 or 2004 to Present. Why not from 2000 to present? Because he becomes close a breakeven tout!!

Guy had a couple of hot years got a following and released his plays when not a lot of sharp $$ was around to push back the line. I would still be curious to know how much $$ is hitting a game in the first 15 minutes after he releases his plays to move a line 2 points?

I've never seen such a group of ingnorant & uninformed bunch of Mofo's in my entire life....a room full of complete morons when it comes to anything even closely related to sports gambling.

Hey Ticket, don't be silly. You don't believe Dr. Bob altered the way sportsbooks do business? That they have never seen anything like this before? My favorite, that the sportsbooks tried to pay him millions to not give out his pick's. You just don't know anything about the sportsbook world. Just priceless stuff.

no, just in general, nothing to do with Dr. Bob, just about the way they discussed sports Gambling...and the ridiculous things they would say....such as "he's dumb not to just move to vegas and become rich gambling if he's that good."

The one lady didn't know you can't just plunk down $5MM on a game, haha.

Only thing I can see that Rachel got wrong is the 52%. In reality, 52.38% is the break even point against a -110 line. 52% would be profitable with reduced juice, but you're sure as hell not going to get reduced juice in Vegas.

when someone in the room exclaimed "52%!?" - I guess that person thinks she could do better?

Of course she did. Just like the general public. Take the average sports fan. Most of them think "I watch games and Sportscenter, I know a lot about sports, I bet I could hit 60%..." Most people have no idea how hard it really is and have no idea how rich they would be if they could hit even 55%. 55% doesn't sound impressive, but obviously we as informed bettors know better.
