More BCS bull.....its un-American

I'm so disgusted I can't think straight. Theres got to be a way to blow up the bcs. Hell everything else in America is controlled by lawsuits or the threat of a lawsuit. We are a meritocracy, you rise or fall by your production.

Imagine how it feels for Utah to go 12-0, be ranked 6th by the bcs and see the Nati (ranked 13) get into a bcs bowl while you end up at the holiday bowl or wherever they end up going. What a sweetheart deal for the little east.

The announcement show is crap, nothing like the basketball tourney.

The bottom line is 40 or 50 old farts, enjoy their feudal power and control. So no matter what they won't allow change and in essence they are giving millions of fans the finger.

Utah should be more than pleased to play in the Sugar Bowl. They were spoonfed a game with some hometown calls vs Ore St to stay unbeaten

Why would Utah complain? They got a BCS bowl game too, and although Cincy doesn't deserve it really, they do more than Utah. Utah isn't even the best non-BCS team, that would be TCU.

Boise State is 12-0 Against the MWC... and Boise will THROTTLE TCU... Lets not forget the 36-3 SHELLACKING of Utah 2 years ago..

If you're Texas Don't GO! Decline the INVITATION to the bowl game, thats about the only statement they can make. Other then that get ready for Ohio St. and watching Oklahoma win the National Championship!

TCU for real?

I'd love to hear why since they did lose to Utah, who is apparently trash.

Boise had the best win out of all of them over Oregon, who is ranked, on the road.

Utah and TCU beat no currently ranked BCS conference team.

I think it's beautiful that the 1-loss teams on the outside looking in are teams from the conferences that have lobbied against conference championship games and a playoff system (USC and Penn State). I'm sure the PAC 10 would have no problem stealing, say, BYU and Utah to join the conference to provide for a conference championship game.

Some sympathy for USC fans that hate their conference politics, but no sympathy for Utah who makes no reasonable effort to match schedules with the legit contenders.

Next step: 4-team playoff, Use the BCS Ratings to seed the top 4 conference champions (for conferences that have championship games). #1 hosts #4, #2 hosts #3.

This year, you'd have: Oklahoma (Big 12) as #1, and UF (SEC) as #2 still, but you could also have #3 USC (PAC 10) and #4 Utah (Mountain West) if they were conference championship game winners. Penn State would have to hope for a conference championship game victory and an upset by one of the four teams ahead of them. Heck, even Boise State could potentially be in the mix.
