20-1 at 5 dimes....considering the way the first 2 played out,how far fetched would the draw really be.....

worth a very small throw away,imo...

Absolutely. Id be mad if I didnt and it came in. This is about as good of a chance as you get for a draw, you shouldnt pass it up. It is a lottery ticket.. I already have a large play on Morales, but I played the draw at +2000 at Pinnacle.

If the judge didnt score the round 10-10 in the 11th, I would have gotten back what i bet on Morales, and hit the draw.... so close.... what a great fight though. Barerra earned it

God these judges are fuking horrible. That fat *** Smith who had it a draw better not be given another fight to judge. How in the hell could that dumb piece of sh!t give Morales the 3rd round? I change my mind some when I watch these things again but from my recollection theres no way Morales won the third. I scored the 2nd a draw, Barrera did some good stuff that round, so did Morales but I didnt think it was clear enough to give to anybody. Lampley is just ignorant some times. I really like the guy and think he does a good job but he can just be blind some times. The 9th round was just a horrible job commentating wise. According to them Morales just dominated it - we werent watching the same fight. Bottom line, Barrera clearly won the fight by a few points. Horrible judging.

I have the over in one of my parlays. I've got like 8k riding on Castillo next week. My Wright by decision came thru, this over, now I just need Jose to take it home.

I know alot of you guys took it on the chin tonight. Spinch I can just imagine how frustrated you were. Morales let his contempt for Barrera and hatred for him work to underestimate him. He took a horrible mental approach to this fight. Roy nailed it right on the head, he thought he could just take the easy route on him this time and KO him. Bad, really bad decision. He thought that he wouldnt be required to go all out in order to win. That approach cost him the first 4-5 rounds of the fight. Plus his shots were wide and looping and just not effective. Barreras were short, really damn crisp, and right up the middle. I thought Morales probably technically landed more shots but there was a huge difference between the effectiveness of their shots.

I was really suprised about how Barrera appeared to be stronger. He's smaller and was giving up 11 lbs but in my mind theres no question as to whos the stronger guy.

Morales just got outclassed tonight. To you guys who lost $ tonight - let him make it up to you his next fight. He'll be a tiger in his next fight. He'll probably be a heavy fav over the guy he fights next, I've heard the names that piece of **** Arum is dropping, but he should be a tiger in his next fight.

However, he clearly isnt effective as he was at 122 or 126. The power he had at those weights has definitely diminished. I dont understand why he doesnt utilize that left jab more, he has a great reach. Spinch, I thought you said Nacho was training him now?

Another thing, its another father/son situation. Morales IMO would be better off by dumping his old man. His mechanics look bad to me, lack of jab and wide looping shots. It was probably the difference in the fight tonight. Barreras trainer as opposed to Morales's. I remember he tried Mayweather for their second fight. I think Manny could really help him out.

I'd like to see Barrera fight Manny again. I would actually like him in that fight, not love him but I'd take that number and touch him a little. Actually, I was planning on doing it with the Marquez fight but now Im not so sure. Marquez looked weak in his last fight. Im sure he was fighting an underrated and tough guy but Im not so sure about him anymore. Rafael is nothing nice though.

he was working with him in training...i read it several times.....i expected him in the corner...

whew......had a hedge on barrera by decision but only caught a +384...........the hedge and the parlay with larios(he sucked)/calderon.......still lost some.......not that bad.......thankfully,i got morales early at around -140.......

the fight?....i have to say that i don`t mind losing a few dollars one bit.....

was a great fight....what fights are supposed to be....these guys...these fights.... have to go down in history....just unreal.....

the ebb and flow.....one guy looks shot....then he steps on the gas....

you get the feeling that if they fought 10 times,it would be nip and tuck every time....

morales was cocky early....seems like he just doesn`t remember the first 2 fights.....how could he dismiss barrera?..... and a style that just gives him terrible problems......

i really thought that the weight would tip the scales in morales` favor....but he started slowly....and let barrera build some momentum....got his nose broken for his trouble....and it probably affected him during the fight...

barrera...marquez....morales....they like to ease their way into a fight...work at their own pace.....that`s why pacquaio was so tough for marquez and barrera....

and i think that lesson in the pacquaio fight served barrera well....losing that fight.....getting jumped on early and never being let into the fight....i think he used that against morales.....

very smart...those early rounds won it for him...

if it goes 15....like they used to....maybe morales has enough left to win....but,they fight 12.....barrera made the night for the books...

i would have loved a draw...not just the monetary part of it.....but you almost hate to see one guy lose a fight like that......but,morales didn`t really get started until the 4th or 5th.....it bit him on the ass....i`m a barrera fan....but,i honestly expected the weight to tip the scales this time....

i said it before....and didn`t listen to myself....most big return fights follow their original pattern...don`t usually stray all that far from the previous bout or bouts...

but,i think barrera deserved the close nod....he seems to always break morales up and do more damage...the weight and experience didn`t change that...

was not thrilled with larios.....he`s a punch and judy hitter......he was lucky, imo, that hussein froze....hussein was the stronger guy...he just couldn`t let his hands go...economical with his punches?.......that`s the understatement of the year..maybe the guy couldn`t handle the magnitude of the event...if that`s how he always fights,he must be fighting some sad dudes......feel fortunate to get the parlay in....don`t believe larios is an elite fighter...i expected a much more polished guy....

btw....anybody else think that the gloves looked large?........they looked way to big.....maybe it was the color?....looked like powder-puffs.....i believe they should have been 8 ounce gloves.......below 154 or 147......have to be 8 ounce...or that`s what i thought they usually were....

they looked very big...

no quarrrel from me...if i have to lose a few dollars on a fight,i`m glad i got my money`s worth....

winky and bernard were big wins....and we`ll win some more on the krasniqi/over props in a week or two...

hope nobody took a bad beating...

Yeah you guys are killing me. I took a long long at Barrera by dec at 5dimes today +464 but you guys talked me out of it with the whole 130 thing.

Youre totally right about why those guys have a problem with Manny. The way they like to box they just werent ready for Manny not going with the program. And yeah, Barrera looked fortunate that the fight was a 12 round fight. But you would of loved to see a draw? No, that would have been injustice. I thought this one was the clearest out of the three and a draw would have been injustice. Barrera beat him tonight and Morales knew it. His face and actions said it all before the score cards were read. He wouldnt be feeling so bitchy and told Barrera to F off if he thought he won the fight.

I tend to agree with you about Larios. He's good but not great. He just flat out outworked and out hustled his opponent tonight. Not alot of pop in his punch though.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about the gloves but I think its the color. I think the same thing about those white gloves. How do you pick that color though? I thought Big Bird was going to come out and start whooping on somebody. Rattner is such an idiot though - what a stupid stance on that issue.
