With 20B a year to play with, you can cook up some pretty elaborate and convincing hoaxes and propaganda (for the gullible Sheep) with no shortage of "experts" and dazzling special effects to make everything seem real.
The problem is, when it's all based lies, inconsistencies, cracks and screw-ups are inevitable, and the whole thing falls apart.
The time delay is a good example. Each "astronaut" video has a different time delay. Sometimes 2-3 seconds, other times 11 or, in this case, none at all! LOL It just depends on who the director is that day.
There are several original Apollo recordings between Houston and "astronauts" on the moon where a reply is heard instantly, which is completely impossible from that distance...meaning they later inserted a fake time delay for public broadcasting.

Mags, have you watched the videos where the Challenger "astronauts" are tracked down and confronted? Some run from the cameras and hide their faces. Some are professors in colleges and confirmed matches with voice-matching technology. Michael J Smith is the only one who was willing to have a conversation in his driveway but spent over 5m trying to convince the researcher it's really not him. LOL
