Montreal -175 looks like free money...im not super big on NHL though..so looking for good NHL Guys to back me up here...Montreal is 4-1 verse Ottawa this year....only loss coming when montreal was slumping about a month or so ago...montreal is 22-8 at home...ottawa is bad bad bad on the road...montreal NEEDS the win for playoff positioning and what not...seems like a great home team in need of a win...versus a bad road team who will be hitting the golf course next week....thoughts NHL experts??? :toast:

Well, that's certainly one angle to this game.

Another would be playing a +1.65 dog who's 11-6 L17, playing a big rival with a chance to darken their playoff chances by upsetting them as they'll be playing very loose with nothing to lose at this stage and Montreal 7-8 L15, possibly playing tight fighting for one of the last playoff spots in the East. If Ottawa isn't playoff bound.....they certainly don't want to help the Canadians get there and watch them on tv.

Let's not forget the refs are clearly giving Montreal all the breaks to get them into the playoffs. They're also at home and have won three straight.

There are always two sides to every story, as Bushay illustrated.

If Montreal is so good at home and have the Sens number, then why
not play them to win in regulation {-0.5 - -105} or even on the -1.5
line {@ +175}? By betting -175 ML are you concerned about an OT
or shootout?

Habs last "easy game" .....they be in trouble if they blow this one.
Then NYR and Bos away then come home to Pitt

You will get a spirited effort at least.
Too rich of a line for me.

The Montreal Canadiens will be without defencemen Andrei Markov and Mathieu Schneider for Monday’s game against the Ottawa Senators.

It’s possible both players could also miss Tuesday night’s game against the Rangers in New York.

Neither veteran skated with the team Monday morning. A decision is to be made after Monday night’s game whether they will accompany the club to New York.

I figure a 5-3 win for the Montreal Canadians in this game.

Koivu - Kovalev - Tanguay. The best line in the NHL right now ... Need this game cause it's the easiest one of the final four ... A win = pratically a playoff spot ... Powerplay kill any goalies since 5-6 games ... The Lapierre - Latendresse - Kostopoulos simply kick ass ... Home game with a crazy crowd who believe ... anything else ... Yeah right the Sens with only 3 players to watch!!!

Good luck folks

MTL -1.5
OTT/MTL over 6

Good game :)
