Anyone shed any light on why Monmouth is only minus 6 when they beat them by 42 the first time they met? Monmouth is 23-5 and Fairfield is 14-12! What am I not seeing?

I cannot find any injury updates. It may be that they think Monmouth will not play as well as they can because it's kind of a letdown game and they have nothing to play for. However, coming from that conference they cannot afford any loss if they want to get into the NCAAT.

line looked shallow to me as well.... best advice... if your not prepared to do something your not comfortable with in this game it's best to stay away.... more than likely this is just a head fake by the linesmakers to keep as many people off of Monmouth as possible... look for the line to start growing around 1 if it moves more than 1.5 points in Monmouths favor I think its safe to bet them with confidence if it goes the other way steer clear of this one

I just posted about this in my thread. Fairfield is a better team than the one Monmouth squashed in January. Monmouth has failed to cover this spread against two arguably lesser MAAC teams on the road recently (Manhattan and Rider). Home court can be a huge equalizer so I don't find it to be a particularly fishy line if that is the concern. With that said the big injury concern is Fairfield's Amadou Sidibe who was limping/pulled in Saturday's loss...he's been one of the best players in the league of late and their only chance of hanging on the glass. I think this line will move higher if he's ruled out but think you're squarely on the right side with Monmouth regardless.

My thoughts exactly! But I've been wrong before! Thanks to all who responded!
