Angus, apologies, but this looks like another indirect plug for yet another arbitrage outfit, otherwise why not just post info instead of a link to that main page?

If you've got a grievance against Moneybookers, then post directly about it. IMHO.

in june 02 someone hacked into my Paypal account and took out $550 which was the whole balance at the time.

i notified Paypal within 8 hours and within 24 hours they had credited my account account. I believe they ended up collaring the thief, or at least stopping the transfer out of his paypal account to his bank account.

I don't think Moneybookers is in the same league as paypal or neteller so I never leave money in there. But if they deal with X's problem as speedily and correctly as Paypal did with mine, I may well use them more.

don't know whether betbrain can help me or not with this case. Or I should wait for a few day??
Here is my problem:
In 18.10.03, a hacker hack to my Moneybookers account. He or she transfers money from my moneybookers account to siteboom@yahoo.com. I straight write e-mail asking moneybookers to cancel the transaction and report it to police. The next day, Moneybookers reply me that they pass the information to their security department for further investigation. From Monday until today, everyday I write e-mail asking how is the progress, but there is totally no reply from moneybookers at all. So, any suggestion from betbrain? I should wait for a few days waiting reply from moneybookers or betbrain able to help me with this???
Please let me know because the amount is quite large and if the moneybookers ignore the case, it will affect the gaming industry since the hacker will continue do it and it will affect the gaming industry. This case should report it to police and bringthe hacker to jail !!!

Below is anohter people who face the same problem, here is the post at betbrain:
Unfortunatelly hacker is also hack my moneybookers account and make withdraw in e-gold.
Hacker is 20.10.03 hack my moneybookers account and take all my money from my moneybookers account.I contact moneybookers but moneybookers tell me that no back my money because moneybookers members must keep pasword.Off course I keep my password but for hacker password no problem.
I also will contact police.I think that moneybookers must back money because moneybookers is regulated by FSA.
Would be kind betbrain.com and talk with moneybookers about this problem.

Due to no reply from Moneybookers at all, I ask my friend to write e-mail asking them that whether got a people's account had been hacked and what is their opinion regarding this. Below is their reply to my friend:

"
Dear Mr. XXX, Thank you for contacting moneybookers.com! We would like to assure you that there is no such case and we have not received a complaint from a user of moneybookers.com, that his account with us has been hacked.

In addition to that, we would like to assure you that such thing cannot happen to you if you strictly abide to our security restrictions and do not provide your password with us to nobody. We would like also to kindly ask you to get back to us and inform us how did you hear of this rumour. Sincerely, The moneybookers.com team
"
I ask my frined write email yesterday, and today he receive this reply. It seem like moneybookers don't want to confess my case at all. I don't think they want to solve my case because they don

if moneybookers don't want to solve it? Means they encourage hacker to hack their client account and steal money. Then I also want to learn how to hack, more profitable than arb !!!

their reaction stinks. Compared with Paypal and what I have heard of Neteller this crowd are a real joke.

Anyone running an internet banking operation who is not prepared to take claims like this seriously at least until there is some reason for doubt are just a joke.

Paypal immediately froze my account and traced the location of my funds, freezing that account and the method of getting money out of that account into cash. This worked.

At no time was I accused - or was it so much as inferred - that I had given my password to anyone else. In fact I am extremely cagey about my passwords, changing them every month, never having the same one, never logging in for more than about a minute.

What I believe happened is that either:

1. Some extremely sharp guy managed to "shadow" my log-in and pick up my password, difficult as this is it is possible.

2. More likely, one of staff at the online casinos I was using at the time may have latched on to the password by the "shadowing" method in the course of either a withdrawal or deposit.

Moneybookers are crap and if they persist in this attitude to potential fraud in their system they will go bust sooner rather than later.

I suggest that all affected parties post up their experiences on The Prescription and also alert books such as Pinnacle who have started using Mbookers as to what is going on here.

The best way to bring about a change in attitude is to alert as many people as possible who can directly affect the health of the business.

Either they change their attitude problem or they leave the industry, it is that simple. The whole tone of their replies suggests they are doing nothing to root out the hackers, which disgusts me.

I am disappinted with moneybookers and don't want to wait anymore. Just write e-mial to FSA to complain this issue. Tomorrow will go to buy phone card and then start taking all action towards moneybookers. My personal lawyer will come back this Thursday, and because FSA regulated by FSA, soon I will discuss with my lawyer regarding this, because of 499 pound moneybookers soon will cease trading, quite ok for me. Moneybookers don't want their future then fine !!! I can confirm soon they will leave the industry, I will start share my experience and any other people experience to all sportsbook using moneybookers.
