Rough, rough week for most of us last week(1-3). The season is young, I believe the first couple weeks and the last couple weeks are the hardest to call. Once we get into the meat of season, especially in conference play, picks get twice as easy. I usually do not even start playing picks until then, but I had some extra cash, so I thought I would take a look. For this weeks I have already put a lot of research into the picks. I believe I will bat 60%+ this weekend for I like the games a hell of a lot better than lasts.
MIAMI FLORIDA -3-140 (B+1½)
Buy the points, this will be a close one that goes down to the wire, but the Hurricane D is better than most people give them credit for being. Also the triple option's worst nightmare is a speedy defense, which Miami has in spades.
CINCINNATI U PK-110
I am 6-0 when betting on Cinci, I am going to continue to bet them to I lose. But they are traditionally underrated, I only picked them up seeing them play in Norman last year. They are a talented squad that return a very good/smart qb in Pike!

Don't be greedy, buy the 1/2 point. This Jayhawk team may not be as loaded as they were last year, but they are still a solid squad. Reesing and Briscoe will have a heyday with Duke at home.
