I wanted to be on the Creighton ML tonight I found it at -165 the spread is -3.5

IF I BUY 3 points and play Creighton -.5 it is only -160.

Dante most times they will shade a home dog on the money line that could be a reason, is it a 20 cent straddle ?

Dante:

Very often you are better off buying the points and bringing the team down to -0.5 then playing the moneyline. I have often found as much as a 15 cent difference when buying points. The reason for the difference is because there may be action on the ML driving it up while the straight line stays the same. There is great value in buying points at times just as there is often times value in playing the ML in lieu of the spread. Hope this helps you.

Where can you buy 3 points and only lay -160?
It's -180 at Olympic for a 3 point buy?

here's another tip: if you are playimg a two-team money line parlay, first go check out what it'd pay as a two team teaser. I found value all football season long by combining teams that were 6-8 point faves into a 6-7 point two-team teasers instead of betting them as two-team ML parlays

Dante: I don't know how you could get a 3 point buy at Olympic for -160. Pick any game, buy 3 points, and it will give you -180. It used to be -170 but they seem to have raised it.
